With temperatures threatening to sneak into the 90s, Mentor Patch offers some ways to beat the heat

For $54, a Mentor adult can swim at all three parks for the entire summer. Passes for Mentor kids or seniors cost $44. Nonresidents pay twice as much for seasonal passes.

Fair warning, there's also a 30 percent chance of heavy rain today, and if it starts storming, you'll have to get out of the pool.

2. Put it on ice.

may not have open skate today, but it's open 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday and 1 to 3 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Fridays this summer.

Skating only costs $5.50 for adults and $4.50 for kids. (If you need to rent skates, that will cost another $2.50.)

3. Cool out at a movie.
