We know you love ice cream -- almost everybody does -- but do you ever wonder how it's made?
You can follow the creation of ice cream, from the cow to the bowl, this Saturday and Sunday at Lake Metroparks Farmpark in Kirtland.
Guests can visit the Factory of Frozen Fun where they will learn how milk becomes cream and then ice cream.
Visitors can even churn their own ice cream, learn about the dessert's history and enjoy a sundae.
Pierre’s will be premiering a new signature ultimate ice cream at the event and kids can get a first taste at the ice cream social. (Sundaes are $1 and the money goes to support Farmpark education programs.)
In addition to all this cool fun, guest can still check out the animals and attractions at the Farmpark.
Admission to Ice Cream Weekend is $6 for ages 12 to 59; $5 for ages 60 and over; $4 for ages 2 to 11; children younger than 2 are free.
Farmpark members receive free admission. For more information about Ice Cream Weekend, visit lakemetroparks.com or call 440-256-2122 or 1-800-366-FARM.
