Blizzard Warning Issued For Lake County

Meteorologists say the area will receive 10 to 14 inches of snow in the next few days.

It looks like that White Christmas will be arriving a day or two late.

The National Weather Service has issued a blizzard warning for Lake County, saying the area will receive 10 to 14 inches of snow between 11 a.m. Wednesday and 7 p.m. Thursday.

This snow is going to combine with 20 to 30 mph winds with gusts up to 40 mph to create a blizzard.

The storm is expected to be at its worst Wednesday afternoon to Wednesday night. Then the blizzard is supposed to taper in the late night hours.

Meteorologists are warning that visibility on the roads will be close to nil when the storm is at its worst.
