2. BLACK FRIDAY DEALS IN AND AROUND MENTOR
Where/When: All over the area, Friday

3. TURKEY DAY 5K RUN/WALK
Where/When: Lake County YMCA (933 Mentor Ave in Painesville), 8:30 a.m. Thursday
Why Go: Earn some of those calories later today with a 5-kilometer run or walk at the Lake County YMCA.
The winner of each age group gets a pumpkin pie!
Pricing: $15 per person, $20 on race day
4. REG. 1 STATE SEMIFINALS
Where/When: Arlin Stadium in Mansfield, 7 p.m. Saturday
Why Go: After instant classics against St. Edward and St. Ignatius on consecutive weeks, are you really willing to miss the Mentor High Cardinals throwdown against Toledo Whitmer?
Tickets are $8 presale and $10 at the gate. The Athletic Department will be selling them in the Mentor High gym lobby Friday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

5. FREE ADMISSION AT CLEVELAND METROPARKS ZOO
Where/When: Cleveland MetroParks Zoo, 3900 Wildlife Way, Cleveland, Thursday
Why Go: Because it's the zoo and it's awesome and it's free on Thanksgiving.
