Authorities Find Missing Mentor Man Who Who Walked Away From Deepwood Center

Police say he is safe and sound

Authorities have found Gary Ross, a Mentor man with a developmental handicap, who had been missing since 3:50 p.m. Monday.

He walked away from the Deepwood Center and was missing for several hours. However, he has been found and is safe and sound, according to the Mentor Police Facebook page.

Officers and fireman started searching the area for Ross about 4 p.m.

At about 1 a.m. Tuesday, police posted a message on their Facebook page saying that Ross was found, safe and that more information would be forthcoming.

He was taken to Lake West Medical Center as a safety precaution.
