1. While his children played in the  pool on July 17, an intoxicated Justin Rodebaugh, 34, passed out in his pool chair and fell onto the ground, . His children are 15 months, 3 and 7 years old. They were not hurt.

Someone in the apartment complex called police after Rodebaugh had fallen from his chair. After officers arrived, he became belligerent, police said.

Police arrested Rodebaugh and charged him with disorderly conduct and endangering children.

2. McDonald's is considering putting one of its stores on the property that houses the now-shuttered 90-year-old Detroit Theatre, and taking the historic building down, according to the story on Lakewood Patch.

3. The judge has denied the Beachwood woman accused of initiating a murder-for-hire scheme via Facebook.

Christine Metter, 40, has been in Lake County Jail since her June 2 arrest on a $500,000 cash bond on charges that she and her father tried to pay her high school friend, Patrick Sabo, $50,000 to kill her ex-husband.
