I'm in a slideshow sort of a mood, so let me give you some links to my favorite photo galleries this weekend on Patch.

1. This year's Twins Days Festival in Twinsburg welcomed twins from all over the country and the world. It is the largest festival dedicated to twins in the U.S.A.

Twins who registered at the event could participate in contests, talent shows, and other fun activities. And most of all, they are able to bond with other twins.

There were 164 artists sprawled out from Marlowe to Andrews avenues.

They sold an array of work, including clothing, enamel, etchings, paintings, photography, yard art, ceramics, concrete leaf art and furniture.

3. Kent Patch Editor Matt Fredmonsky about what he did during his weeklong summer vacation.

(By the way, I know Matt and that man has earned a vacation.)

4. Finally, because it can't all be photo galleries and good news, two teens who pleaded guilty to attacking a Cleveland Heights man after a homecoming football game were sentenced Friday.

Phillip Morris, 18, of Cleveland Heights, received a seven-year prison sentence, and Maurice Pollard, 17, also of Cleveland Heights, received the maximum of nine and a half years, said Ryan Miday, spokesperson for Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Bill Mason's Office. Pollard was tried as an adult.
