1. A mysterious painting showed up at the  earlier this month to the consternation of library employees.

Kent Free Library Director Stacey Richardson said they found the painting, about 4 feet tall and 5 feet wide, leaning against the West Main Street entrance of the library one morning.

Richardson said there was no note or explanation, and there is no signature on the front or back of the painting.
