1. Solon Patch offers a sobering story about trying to steal beer.

Three teenagers face felony charges (or their juvenile equivalent) after a prank went too far.

Police say three Solon teens were driving around near Arapaho Court in Heritage Estates Sunday night and doing the "ding dong ditch" game. One of the teens would hop out of the car and ring a home's doorbell and then run back to the car and drive off.

But then, according to the police report, the teenagers decided to look into open garages to see if they could find any beer.

2. Last weekend, a crew from HGTV came to Lakewood in secret to shoot for an upcoming episode of the reality TV show House Hunters.

The show — about prospective homebuyers in their quest for a new home — will air sometime in the next several months.

Little else is known about the shoot — including the location of the home — because the show’s producers want to keep a tight lid on the result,

3. The Ohio Senate has passed a ballot issue that would allow voters to enact a constitutional amendment that would block provisions in "ObamaCare."
