1. A man is accused of stealing a veteran's Marine Corps medals in Solon.

The suspect said he stopped by the Solon home of his ex-girlfriend's father because he saw a Marine Corps flag on the ground and wanted to pick it up.

But Solon Police think he had a more unpatriotic reason for stopping, and arrested 48-year-old Michael Sidoti, of Garfield Heights, and charged him with breaking and entering, a felony,
