1. People in East Cleveland are protesting the imminent closure of Huron Hospital.

The Cleveland Clinic on Monday, citing financial reasons and the declining population in the area.

In response to Clinic’s decision, two grassroots organizations, Fight for a Fair Economy and Black on Black Crime,  in front of Cleveland Clinic.

The march started with about 30 people, but then later more than doubled at the rally that included city council members from Cleveland and Cuyahoga County. Residents of East Cleveland, Cleveland Heights and family of  employees were there to oppose the Clinic’s decision.

2. It's OK to laugh at this blotter item because the victim is getting her money back.

A woman in Solon was charged for a $1,623 bar tab. And the bar's in Spain. And she never left the country. Or lost her credit card.

h, police said the woman will have her money refunded.

3. A recently opened gym in Beachwood caters specifically to cancer survivors.

The Richman Wellness Center, located on Commerce Park Road, is the newest addition to The Gathering Place, a nonprofit  support center for cancer patients and their friends and family. It offers free fitness programs tailored to cancer patients undergoing treatments or recovering from them.

4. A Kent State alum launched Fashionably Cleveland, a web site and magazine dedicated to highlighting fashion in northeastern Ohio.
