Adopt-A-Pet: Nina

Nina's resolution is to have a home for the new year

Nina is a sweet Border Collie mix who gets along well with people and other dogs.

She is seven years old and may seem a little shy at first. But, once she gets to know you, she is a complete sweetheart.

Nina has lived at Lake Humane Society since October because her previous owner could no longer care for her. And she would like to find a new home for the holidays.

Like all the animals at the shelter, Nina is spayed and up to date on her shots.

Through the month of December, people can adopt dogs for just $50 (when they are usually $70 to $130.) Similarly cats of any age can be adopted at the shelter for $20. (They are regularly $50 to $115.)
