This affectionate kitty is available for adoption from the Lake Humane Society

Callie may seem a little nervous; but, once you get to know her, she is relaxed, affectionate and may be perfect for your family.

Callie is 10 years old and she came to Lake Humane Society in August because her previous owner could no longer care for her.

She can be a little slow to adjust to new surroundings but is comfortable sharing her home with dogs -- so other pets need not be a deterrent.

Callie came to the shelter with her front paws declawed. She is also spayed, microchipped and up-to-date on vaccinations.

All the animals at Lake Humane Society are half off for the entire month of January. That means a lucky, loving family can adopt Baby for $10.
