Adopt-A-Pet: Autumn

Autumn is a special cat with some special needs

Autumn has a problem with her eye.

She's had it since before she came to in February. (Her owner moved and could not take Autumn with her.)

The injury is immediately apparent and while some may not want to adopt Autumn because of it, we hope that others will love her despite it -- or even because of it.

Autumn is an 8-year-old tabby. She has a laidback personality and loves to play with her stuffed hippopotamus.

Her eye injury did not blind her. However, she does require a regiment of eye drops.

Like all Lake Humane Society cats, Autumn is fixed, microchipped and up to date on her shots.

A good owner can adopt Autumn for only $25.

Furthermore, Lake Humane is running a trio of specials on cats this summer.

On Senior Cat Sundays, any felines older than five only cost $10 to adopt.

On Thursdays, all cats and kittens are $30.

Finally, on "2 Fur" Tuesdays, people can adopt two cats for the cost of one.
