5 Things You May Have Missed This Week

I don't know about you, but I'm still trying to catch up on sleep I lost covering Tuesday's City Council meeting.

1. Ohio Rep. Ron Young visited Council Tuesday night to talk about Senate Bill 5.

Young said why he supported the law and then Council members as well as Mentor residents asked some thoughtful questions.

2. Also at the Council meeting, two Mentor residents – Erik Clarke and Emily Koenig – revisited the controversial topic of "running from cover."

3. One last thing from Council, then I promise to move on.

Robert Leach, a Mentor resident, suggested Council look into passing a law that would put on outside/feral cats.

4. The Mentor Patch Moms Council discussed a question that every parent faces eventually.
