People often use the word "tragedy" to describe a situation that is unfortunate, inconvenient or simply sad.

However, an undeniable tragedy struck one of Mentor's native daughters this week and the family and friends of Erin Gaydos Carlisle are left to mourn her loss.

1. Carlisle, 25, died while with her husband, Ryan Carlisle, and some of his coworkers Memorial Day in Erie, PA.
