Mentor Chamber Invites Businesses to Participate in Veterans Discount Program

Mentor VetsNet gives veterans 10 percent off goods upon showing identification

As Veteran's Day approaches, the Mentor Area Chamber of Commerce hopes to add businesses to its Mentor VetsNet discount program.

The program features businesses who give a 10-percent discount to veterans, reserve, and active duty service members. More than 40 companies already participate in VetsNet.

"Mentor VetsNet provides tangible recognition and gratitude for the service given by the men and women of our armed forces past and present," MACC President and CEO Kevin Malecek said in a statement. "It is a way to honor and support those who have given the their all to guarantee our freedom."
