Inspection Reports: Which Food Providers Had Three or More Violations in June?

The health district inspects a wide variety of food providers, but restaurants generally have the most violations.

Though the Lake County General Health District inspected a wide variety of food service providers the past couple months, restaurants generally continue to have the most violations.

While restaurants like Mr. Hero and Taco Bell received clean inspections last month, others had some explaining to do. Depending on the type of violation, food service providers can get a follow-up visit the following month.

Some turn that into a positive, like Lakeside Snacks, which corrected the violations it had in May.

View the Google Fusion table above for a look at the food service providers that had three or more violations in June. Each carries a category with a numerical ranking that is indicative of the risk the state believes there is for a patron to become ill. Restaurants are often listed as "C2S" or "C3S" and schools, "N2S" or "N4S," based on size and risk.
