FroYo Twist To Open Third Location In Lake County

Bob Krizancic has also joined the ownership team at FroYo

The Mentor-based FroYo Twist will be opening its third location in Lake County this September.

The self-serve frozen yogurt shop, which already has locations on and , is expanding to downtown Willoughby.

The address will be 38233 Glenn Avenue, next to What About Bob's Sub's and by  the entrance to the Willoughby Brewing Company parking lot.

"Our Willoughby location should open around mid-September," FroYo majority owner and operator Ed Sammon said in a statement. "We are thrilled to provide a closer venue for our loyal western Lake County customers, in addition to the benefit of being located in historic Downtown Willoughby."

In related news, Bob Krizancic -- who is also the Mentor High School basketball coach -- has joined FroYo's ownership team.

Krizancic is specifically a minority owner for the two Mentor locations, Sammon said. Meanwhile, Erik Schroeder has a minority share in all three stores.

"Bob Krizancic and I have been acquaintances for the past 10 years," Sammon said. "Although I have had many discussions with potential investors and interested business partners, everything fell into place very nicely with Bob.

"I have a great deal of respect for what he has accomplished professionally, and after a few discussions with one another, I believe that we were both happy to have him come aboard."
