Forever 21, Wilsons Leather & More Coming to Great Lakes Mall

In July and August, the mall will get three new tenants, along with additions and relocations of existing tenants.

The summer of 2013 will be full of relocations, openings and potential traffic for Great Lakes Mall.

The Simon Property Group mall recently announced two relocation, an addition to an existing store and the arrival of three retailer  that customers previously had to travel to other cities and states to experience.

In August, the mall will add:

"It is such a great time for Great Lakes Mall because of so many changes that are taking place," spokeswoman Renee Lanzara said. "I think a few years ago when we announced our renovations, we were excited about what that meant for our property and now we're the seeing fruits of our labor."

In early August, Build-a-Bear will move into a 2,577-square-foot space between Justice and PacSun. The site of children's parties and activities, Build-a-Bear will incorporate touch screens and other technology into the bear-making process.

Junior accessory and clothing seller Wet Seal will move to a space between Zales and Sears in July.

Wilsons and P.S. will open locations that are 3,800 and 3,500 square feet, respectively. Forever 21 will open a location greater than 15,000 square feet between Rogers Jewelers and The Icing.

"Everyone has been working towards these improvements for many years," Lanzara said. "We're happy to see they're coming to fruition now."
