Food Inspections: Who Had Fewest Violations in August?

Find out which restaurants, schools and businesses had the fewest violations in August.

View the Google Fusion table above to see which Mentor-based food service operators had the fewest violations in August, as reported by the Lake County General Health District. Tomorrow, we'll publish a table with the ones who had three or more violations during the same month.

Remember not to assume the businesses with three or more violations are always cleaner than those listed today. For example, Pizza Hut had just one violation in August, but it was deemed "critical"—Parmesan cheese stored at room temperature.

The food service providers each carry a category with a numerical ranking that is indicative of the risk the state believes there is for a patron to become ill. Restaurants are often listed as "C2S" or "C3S" and schools, "N2S" or "N4S," based on size and risk.
