In June, Climax forged an exclusive North American marketing partnership with an Italian industrial manufacturer, MAV S.p.A., which makes locking assemblies, shrink discs and keyless rigid couplings.

The partnership is expected to advance Climax’s position in the keyless locking device, KLD, market by combining the strength of Climax’s marketing, distribution and service with MAV’s manufacturing expertise and reputation for producing high quality products. A KLD is a hub-locking device that improves the connection of a drive component to a shaft. Common applications for KLDs include gears, motors, hydraulics, clutches and brakes.
