The Cleveland Clinic will be opening a physicians' office by mid-October in Mentor.
The Mentor Medical Office Building will be located at 7060 Wayside Drive.
The office will have 12 to 15 physicians, said Heather Phillips, the director of corporate communications for the Clinic.
The services offered will include primary care, OBGYN and pediatrics, as well as medical and surgical specialties, Phillips said.
Phillips said the Mentor Medical Office Building resulted, in part, because of the popularity of the Clinic's Willoughby Hills Family Health Center.
"We're seeing an increased demand at that facility and we already had many patients coming from the Mentor area," Phillips said. "This is an opportunity to bring services closer to them."
The offices will be a total of 10,000 square feet.
Cleveland Clinic has a partnership with Lake Health. Phillips said opening a new medical office in Mentor will not negatively impact that relationship.
"We've made them aware of what we're doing and they're supportive of it," Phillips said.
