Car Mostly Submerged on Flooded Route 306 (Photo)

Saturday morning began with a slew of road closures throughout the city, following a night of flooding.

The most notable closure, Route 306, between Mentor Avenue and Tyler Boulevard, is where a car was seen mostly submerged just past the railroad tracks. Mentor Police Lt. Dan Molnar said the car had been there for hours by 10 a.m.

Plenty of residents, whose northbound cars were directed to Points East Plaza, stopped to take their own photo of the car and flood.

Mentor Police announced that all roads were open as of about 3 p.m., according to the department's Facebook page.

Got any flooding photos from Saturday? Did your kids go kayaking down your residential street? If so, share them on the Mentor Patch boards.
