Snapped Power Line Leaves Reynolds Road Businesses Without Power

Power is out for a few business on Reynolds Road as a result of a snapped power line.

The line is located in front of Mentor Blinds. It burned a sizable hole in that business' parking lot. Illuminating Co. supervisor Tom Smith said power for businesses in the vicinity could be without power for two hours.

Smith said heat - all 86 degrees of it - is the cause of the snapped line.

Nearby businesses like Hooley House and Chipotle have been without power for about 45 minutes. Chipotle has closed its doors for the outage. Meanwhile, patrons at Hooley House remained at the bar, wondering if power would return in time for them to finish lunch before returning to work.
