We Will Never Forget: 10th Annual Ceremony 9/11 Remembrance

The 9/11 Never Forget Project announcement of events in the area. Respect, Remember, Reflect. We are Americans for a reason.

I will remember the 9/11 attack on America. History changed on this day. Innocents were slaughtered because we are America. Remember this day, remember because you are American. God Bless.

I called to ask about our ceremony. I was told there was none scheduled. That is unfortunate. Perhaps there will be something next year.

There are remembrances in surrounding cities though. I am attending a beautiful event scheduled at Downtown Painesville City Square. Here are the details from their media release:

"On Sunday, September 11th 2011 in the Painesville City Square, we will place a flag for all those who lost their life, One for each of the almost 3000 that died that fateful day.  We will have speakers from various safety forces and county officials.  There will be a Honor Guard with 21 gun salute and a trumpet soloist.  All are invited to help place the flags.  Below is the event timeline.  This is the 10th anniversary.  We must never forget this day.

Please take time to thank and remember those in the Fire and Police Departments and all of our servicemen and women.  We would also like to invite all Blue Star families and also our Gold Star Families to place their own flag.

Also, Painesville, Willoughby and Eastlake will dedicate their own memorials that day.  Please take time to attend one of these and consider a donation to their memorials.
