The Coming of the Civil War-A Readers’ Theater Production A Civil War 150th Anniversary Program

This event marks the 150th anniversary of the beginning of the Civil War. Visit James A. Garfield NHS for a dramatic production featuring the original words and speeches of Southern secessionists, Northern Unionists, and everyone in between!

In a readers’ theater, the audience IS the cast, so come prepared to weigh in on the possibility of Civil War!

Anyone 16 and over wishing to tour the Garfield home or exhibits is subject to a $5 entrance fee.
