Winter Weave Returns to Wildwood Cultural Center

Basket weavers from as far away as Alaska and California travel to Mentor to learn new weaving techniques from the experts

About 50 basket weavers – some from as far away as the Pacific coast –  have gathered this weekend at for the annual Winter Weave.

Professional and amateur weavers alike converge to learn new techniques and practice their art.

Many of the weavers who came to Winter Weave this year make it an annual pilgrimage, so this is a great chance for them to catch up with old friends, as well.
