Cub Scouts Pack 388 returns to the Great Lakes Mall for its annual Pinewood Derby

Cub Scout Pack 388 of Mentor held its annual Pinewood Derby Sunday in the south concourse at Great Lakes Mall.

The scouts designed, built, painted and raced their own tiny race cars. Most scouts take weeks to perfect their design.

The racers are scored on speed and for design.

This is the third year the pack had its derby at the mall. In previous years, hosted the races.
