The KidShow Returns to Great Lakes Mall This Weekend

The 13th annual KidShow returns with some old favorites and new twists this Saturday and Sunday at Great Lakes Mall.

The family entertainment event is free and will include music, magic, crafts, cookies, clowns, karate demonstrations, dancing and baton performances.

Also, the first 500 families to visit the mall's guest center Saturday morning will get a free goody bag, and one bag will have a gift certificate for a free birthday party with 15 guests at Great Lakes Atlas Cinemas.

Exhibitors  and performers will also have several giveaways of their own.

Even with all this fun, adults will have a chance to learn information that can help them as a parent. For example, the KidShow will include a "Baby Shower" area that will let expecting mothers know what they need while preparing for birth. The "Baby Shower" is new this year and will be held 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday in the Dillard's concourse off of the food court.
