Photo Gallery: Mentor-on-the-Lake Holds Labor Day Parade

Hundreds line the streets to watch floats, marching units and bands

More than 50 units, including four labor unions, participated in Mentor-on-the-Lake's Annual Labor Day Parade Saturday afternoon.

Hundreds of spectators lined the parade route that stretched from Rice Elementary on Lake Shore Boulevard to Andrews Road and ended at Mentor Beach Park.

Mentor-on-the-Lake Mayor John M. Rogers said several businesses and organizations supported the community parade including Amvets Post 109 and Ladies Auxiliary, Spudnuts Donut Shop, Mentor-on-the-Lake Giant Eagle Supermarkets, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Miller, McDonald's Restaurant, City of Mentor, the Mentor School Board, Mentor-on-the-Lake Senior Pinochle Club, Munson Road State Beverage and C. Pearson Trophy & Sales.
