  • Paws to Read -- that pairs reticent readers with attentive therapy dogs who listen to the children as they read. Spots fill up quickly so register now.
  • Recipe for Art --  will host a free art workshop March 12. Artists and would-be artists can learn painting and drawing.
  • Calling All Cub Scouts: Astronomy Belt Loop -- Mentor Public Library hosts several programs for cub, boy and girl scouts. On March 9, the library has organized a trip for cub scouts to the Mentor High School planetarium where astronomy teacher Steve Thompson will teach them about the universe.
  • Book Club for Men -- The library's book club for men meets the third Monday of every month. An all-guy book club is a rarity, so much so that WKYC recently highlighted the group in a news story.
