As part of the party, the library will feature some of the creatures that have made the Harry Potter books and movies so memorable.

Lake Metroparks will bring their own owl, like Hedwig who carries letters for Potter, and thee Northern Ohio Association of Herpetologists will also have reptiles for the kids to see. Here's hoping they leave the basilisk at home. An entomologist from Case Western Reserve University will bring a menagerie of insects, similar to the creepy-crawlies that inspired some of J.K. Rowling's monsters.

Librarians ask that people register for the party so they can have an approximate head count beforehand. One can do that by calling 440-255-8811 ext. 221.
