Mentor High Volleyball Team Raising Money for Breast Cancer Research & Treatment
The team is selling shirts that will double as tickets for their Sept. 29 game against Hudson; all proceeds will go to the Susan G. Komen Foundation
The volleyball team will be bumping and spiking for a good cause on Sept. 29 when they play Hudson.
They have turned the game into a Volley for the Cure event that will raise money for the Susan G. Komen Foundation, which funds breast cancer research and treatment.
People can buy T-shirts for $8 at the athletic office or in the cafeteria during lunch. They will double as tickets for the Mentor-Hudson game.

In addition to the game, the evening will include a 50/50 raffle and gift basket auction. All proceeds will go to Susan G. Komen.
Volley for the Cure started in 2006 and, since then, more than 300 high schools have participated and raised more than $1 million for breast cancer treatment and research.
