Great Lakes Mall to Host Tribute for Military This September

In addition to the tribute, several stores in the mall will be offering deals to military members in September

Great Lakes Mall will have a daylong tribute to honor members of the military, as well as their families, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sept. 24 in the south plaza.

During the event, local nonprofit groups and organizations will be on hand to share ways the community can support and provide aid to military personnel, as well as veterans.

“We are so proud of all that our military do to protect our country,” said Renee Lanzara, the mall's director of marketing. “We want this celebration to emphasize how much we respect and care for the military members in our community.”

One of the ways in which the mall will celebrate the military is with a fashion show. At 1 p.m., military members and their families will model fall fashions.

In addition to the Military Tribute event, many retailers in the mall will feature monthlong deals for military families to take advantage of in September.
