Why Go: It’s meat heaven: saucy slabs, a grilling contest, Man vs. Food rib-eating challenge and the Greatest Ribs in America contest. Don’t forget the music — national, regional and local bands will perform throughout the weekend.
Pricing: $8 before 3 p.m., $5 after 3 p.m. with discount coupon from Marc’s or the event website. Kids 12 and under are free all day.
Where/When: Holden Arboretum, 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday.
Why Go: Tour the formal English borders and naturalized plantings along the wooded ravines, rock gardens and perennial beds.
