Where/When: Lakeland Community College, 5 p.m. 9 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

Why Go: Buy, sell or swap. Military relics welcome (and no, that’s not a joke about old soldiers). Proceeds will benefit Lakeland College Scholarships.

Pricing: $4 for adults, $2 for college and high-school students.

3. CROSSROADS CAROUSEL CABARET

Where/When: Quail Hollow Resort, Concord, 5 p.m. Saturday

Why Go: You’re invited to an intimate evening filled with music by Broadway veteran J. Mark McVey along with dinner. The event benefits Crossroads, nonprofit behavioral health group serving children and families in Lake County.

Pricing: $125

Where/When: , Mentor, 2 p.m. Saturday.

Why Go: This is the first of four events in 2011 celebrating Garfield’s 180th birthday. This program focuses on his youth in the Western Reserve.

Pricing: Free, but it's $5 if anyone 16 and older wants to tour the Garfield home or exhibits.
