Get Out: Ice Shows, Art Fests & A Party in the Park

Where/When: Veterans Park in downtown Painesville, 11 a.m. to midnight Friday through Sunday.

Why Go: This music festival features a number of acts on four stages, more than 40 food vendors and a beer garden.

Why Go: More than 250 skaters are expected to participate in this individualized skating competition for youths and adults.

3. “CHICAGO”

Where/When: Rabbit Run Theater in Madison, 8 p.m. Friday.

Why Go: It’s the opening weekend for “Chicago,” the musical satire set in the roaring ’20s that has won six Tony Awards. It runs through July 31.

Pricing: $19 for adults, $17 for seniors and students.

4. WILLOUGHBY ARTSFEST

Where/When: The streets of downtown Willoughby, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.

Why Go: A juried fine arts and crafts show featuring more than 150 artists. Music and food vendors, too.

Pricing: Free.

5. ANTIQUE COIN ROADSHOW

Where/When: Fairport Harbor Marine Museum & Lighthouse, 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.

Why Go: Get the latest news in coin investing and coin collecting from Tom Jerpbak of Ye Olde Oaken Bucket Antiques in Painesville.

Pricing: $4 for adults, $3 for seniors and $2 for ages 6-12.
