Dinner Theatre Returns to Mentor Senior Center in September

Dinner and this year's production, "Captain Frank's Tropical Cruise," begins at 7 p.m. on Sept. 21.

A cast of singers, actors and dancers are coming to Mentor Senior Center next month, but those who want to go should make arrangements as soon as possible.

"It's important to make reservations early," Recreation Coordinator Nick Standering said of this year's Dinner Theatre, presented by Frank Krupa.

"Frank's productions sell out here at the Mentor Senior Center."

Dinner begins at 7 p.m. on Saturday Sept. 21, followed by the premiere of "Captain Frank's Tropical Cruise" begins at 7 p.m. on Saturday Sept. 21. The presentation will feature 27 actors, comedians, dancers and singers.

The show centers on the mystery of stolen jewels and Captain Frank's quest to find out who committed the crime.

Chef Cathy Jo Kaiser’s island dinner includes marinated chicken shish kabob, seasoned rice, a vegetable medley, and a tropical dessert, according to the center.

Tickets cost $16 and can be purchased at the senior center or by calling 440-974-5725.
