Deepwood Idols Rock the Stage

Workers from Deepwood's Vocational Guidance Center took part in an "American Idol" competition for the right to move on to the finals

One performer asked the crowd to "Call Me Maybe," while a tap dancer was all smiles while "Puttin' on the Ritz."

There was never a dull moment at Thursday's VGC Idol competition, hosted at the Deepwood Vocational Guidance Center.

While every act kept the audience enthused, Jonathan Wright and Carol Jamieson came out on top with their rendition of Journey's "Don't Stop Believing." They will be among the performers to take part in the Deepwood Idol final competition March 30 at Great Lakes Mall on March 30.
