Barnes & Noble Holding Book Fair for Lake Catholic Saturday

Barnes & Noble will hold a book fair Saturday in which a percentage of their proceeds will go to Lake Catholic High School

is holding a , complete with a Frappuccino-making contest and story time with the Lake Catholic cougar mascot.

The fair is a fundraiser for library. The bookstore will donate between 10 and 25 percent of its proceeds for all sales in which the person says they are with Lake Catholic.

Exactly what percentage the bookstore gives depends on how much money is raised.

For every $10 someone spends, they will get a raffle ticket and could win Barnes & Noble gift certificates or a Nook e-reader that will be raffled during the day. Also, the Lake Catholic cougar will lead kids in a special story time at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.

"The idea isn't just to make money," Lake Catholic librarian Sally Goodman said of the fair. "It's to promote fellowship and reading."
