Lake Humane Society's may be over but people can still adopt a black cat from the shelter at a discounted rate in its honor.
For example, a good family can adopt Malley -- a 9-month-old black cat that has been with Lake Humane Society since July -- for $25.
Malley's a frisky cat who likes to play. Her owner gaver her up because she already had too many animals.
