The CARDINAL DASH is a team Crossfit Workout. Teams of 4 athletes, 3 divisions (9/10 - 11/12 - High School Graduates). This event is modeled after the Reebok Crossfit Games which is the ultimate test of physical fitness and endurance. Prizes will be awarded to the first place team in each division.
The workout - 400 meter dash, box jumps, thrusters, double unders/single jumping rope, burpees, abmat sit ups, overhead lunge
Weights can be scaled, but must meet weight standards to be eligible for prizes in each division.

More About Mentor High School
Mentor has the eighth largest high school in the state. It can be found in the same development as the 1,500-seat Fine Arts Center, which the entire district uses, and the Jerome T. Osborne Stadium, where both Mentor High and Lake Catholic play football.
The 2010 senior class had a 97.4 percent graduating rate, of which 58 percent went to a 4-year college, 27 percent went to a 2-year school, and 6 percent went to the military or a technical school.
Mentor High School offers several extracurriculars, academic, artistic and athletic. Sports include, but are not limited to, football, baseball, basketball, volleyball, golf, swimming and diving, competitive cheerleading, track and tennis. Students can also participate in band, drama, show choir or clubs for skiing, photography, video games and anime and academic challenge.
Each Mentor High graduating class averages 60,000 hours of community service. Its principal is Joe Spiccia.
