Snow golfers return to Black Brook for the annual Lake County Chili Open, the proceeds of which go to the Lake County of United Way.

The snow and cold did not deter more than golfers at the eighth annual Chili Open Saturday morning at Black Brook Golf Course.

Money from the event goes to the United Way of Lake County. In its eight-year history, the Chili Open has made more than $10,000 for the local chapter of the United Way.

The event is co-hosted by Mentor Parks & Recreation and the United Way of Lake County.

United Way employees were also at the open selling tickets for the charity's Super Raffle, in which people can win prizes ranging from a new car to a 5-day cruise.
