Watch: Golfers Take Swing In The Snow At Black Brook Chili Open
The charity event, which is hosted by Mentor Parks & Recreation, raises money for the United Way of Lake County
The snow and cold did not deter about 230 golfers at the seventh annual Chili Open Saturday morning at Black Brook Golf Course.
Money from the event goes to the United Way of Lake County. In its seven-year history, the Chili Open has made more than $10,000 for the local chapter of the United Way.
The event is co-hosted by Mentor Parks & Recreation and the United Way of Lake County.
United Way employees were also at the open selling tickets for the charity's Super Raffle, in which people can win prizes ranging from a new car to a 5-day cruise.
