The Lake County Board of Developmental Disabilities held its first ever Deepwood Idol competition Saturday at the Great Lakes Mall.

While its vocational guidance center holds a talent competition every year, this is the first time Deepwood has had a contest for all of its programs -- from the VGC to Broadmoor.

Deepwood clients sang everything from C & C Music Factory to Etta James, danced and cracked jokes for a crowd of more than 500 people.

Enjoy our video and photos from the event. I saw a lot of of you with cameras, also, so feel free to add your pics and clips to our gallery.

Thank you for posting 3 more videos of the Deepwood Idol Show. I thoroughly enjoyed them! As I was unable to attend the show, I'm hoping you will be so kind as to post more videos soon.
