Video: Hop on the All-Smiles-Aboard Train
The new trackless train at Great Lakes Mall will be raising money for the Western Reserve Model Railroad Museum during a special event Saturday
Some things you expect to see at a mall. For example, a mall isn't a mall without a food court, power walkers or a Hot Topic.
But a trackless train?
That one's unique to Great Lakes Mall.
All Smiles Aboard is a new business that just started running this month at the Mentor mall. It offers shoppers an 8-minutes train ride through the retail center.
Its owner, Brian Davis, said he got the idea after seeing something similar at a mall in Florida.
Davis is throwing a celebration Saturday to announce All Smiles Aboard's arrival. It will have prizes, coloring stations, model trains and, of course, train rides.
Moreover, 50 cents of each $3 train ride will go to benefit the Western Reserve Model Railroad Museum in Mentor

Great idea, hope this gets more people involved and interested in the model train Museum. Keep up the good work. Who does not like to see happy kids enjoying a train ride.
