United Way of Lake County's Annual St. Patty's Day Celebration Is Coming
Guests can get served a traditional Irish feast by Mentor Schools Superintendent Jacqueline Hoynes, Mentor Councilman Ray Kirchner and more
Want to get served lunch by Mentor Schools Superintendent Jacqueline Hoynes?
How about Mentor City Councilman Ray Kirchner?
They are just two of the more than 50 celebrity servers pitching in at the eighth annual St. Patty's Day Luncheon for United Way of Lake County.
The luncheon will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. March 17 at the LaMalfa Centre. And, for the first time, the event is open to the general public.
The servers will provide guests with an appropriately Irish feast of a corned beef brisket, potatoes, carrots and cabbage. Then they will entertain them with Irish jigs, serenade them and do whatever else it takes to earn tips for the United Way of Lake County.
The luncheon will also offer karaoke and raffles in which guests can win great prizes like vacations, fitness memberships, salon and spa gift certificates, golf outings and sports memorabilia.
On average, the event raises more than $30,000 for the United Way of Lake County each year.
Tickets cost $25. They can be bought at the United Way of Lake County or by calling Kristin Kozar at 440.639.1149 or emailing her at firstname.lastname@example.org
