Tony Sacco’s Coal Oven Pizza will open its first location in Ohio at Great Lakes Mall at the end of this November.

In anticipation of its opening, the restaurant will host a hiring fair from noon to 5 p.m. on Oct. 12 and 13 in the Dillard's south concourse of the mall.

The restaurant seeks to hire more than 50 employees, including servers, bartenders, pizza cooks, hostesses, dishwashers, kitchen help and management, ranging in part-time to full-time positions.

Pizza cooks will need to demonstrate their skills with pizza dough with a hands-on evaluation during the interview.

Tony Sacco's will occupy about 4,000 square feet on the west side of the property, next to the Dillard’s South building.

Tony Sacco’s Coal Oven Pizza currently has seven open locations: two in Florida two in Michigan, two in Indiana and one in Illinois. Including the Great Lakes Mall location, there are 15 stores in development — seven in Chicago, five in Michigan, one in Indiana and one in North Carolina.

The sit-down restaurant -- whose menu is in no way limited to pizza -- will include a full bar and have entrances both inside and outside of the mall.
