Sterling Morton Elementary School is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year and they want your reminiscences and photos to commemorate the event.

The school will have an open house with memorabilia from Sterling Morton's history displayed for visitors from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on May 18, as well as a brief program at 7 p.m.

As part of the celebartion, the school is collecting memories from the last half of a century.

These will be used in a scrapbook, video and keepsake display at the open house.
